Associate Lecturer in English for Academic Purposes (EAP)

The School of Education at the University of Bolton is seeking an Associate Lecturer in English for Academic Purposes (EAP) to deliver in-sessional classes, one-to-one language coaching, and the pre-sessional English programme. This role involves creating tailored sessions, resources and assessments for students across a range of disciplines to support their academic language development.

You will have a good honours degree in a relevant discipline and a recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGDip TESOL or Cambridge DELTA. Experience in EAP teaching, resource design, and engaging students from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds is essential. A master’s degree in Applied Linguistics, TESOL, or a related field, and familiarity with technology or AI tools in teaching are desirable.
