Associate Lecturer/Lecturer Environmental Engineering

The key duties of the post holder will be to contribute to the development of all facets of the MRes Environmental Management Course whilst also contributing to the Civil Engineering and Construction course portfolio within the subject group alongside the wider portfolio of the School/University, as appropriate.

Having a first degree and either a master's or doctoral degree is a pre-requisite and Chartered Engineer (CEng) is desirable.  Ideally, you will have a teaching qualification and a PhD/Professional Doctorate or willing to complete within dedicated timescales.

The successful candidate should demonstrate awareness of current developments in Civil and Environmental Engineering alongside Sustainable Construction Development and as well as being able to facilitate the creation and maintenance of a range of links between academic, research initiatives and employers.  Relevant teaching and programme delivery experience, as well as being able to undertake appropriate subject specific research and/or advanced creative practice and/or enterprise activity is essential.
