Senior Lecturer - Research Methods & Data

Greater Manchester Business School continues to transform, bringing in an exciting focused way of study in the Greater Manchester Way block model and with new student initiatives to support their success.  Our ambitious plans to continue to grow our taught and research programmes have employability at the heart. We deliver a range of business and accountancy programmes at all levels, from foundation and undergraduate to Masters and Higher level research degrees.

This role will support our wide portfolio of business and accounting courses. We are an applied  Business School with a focus on equipping students to add value from day one in industry and we follow ‘teaching intensive, research informed’ principles . We are looking for staff who want to bring the latest practices in business onto our courses and are using up to date research.

Registration with an appropriate professional body is desirable along with a first degree and preferably a teaching qualification. A commitment to undertaking or completing a PhD/DBA and membership of the Higher Education Academy is a requirement of our full-time roles.

Candidates with significant industry experience are particularly welcomed.  Successful candidates will need to demonstrate up to date awareness of current developments within their specialist area as well as being able to nurture links between courses and real-life businesses.
