Are you interested in joining the number one University in Greater Manchester for student satisfaction?

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Student Services for an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated Disability Advisor. Student Services are looking for an individual with a “can-do” attitude who is an excellent team player and who can deliver excellent customer service even under demanding and busy periods.

The Disability Service provides advice, guidance and support to students with a wide range of disabilities, including Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) such as Dyslexia or Dyspraxia; neurodiversity, such as Autism and ADHD, and long-term or chronic health conditions, such as HIV or cancer. The role includes managing a case load of students often with complex support needs. Our Disability Advisors offer confidential advice and guidance on all disability issues in relation to a student’s course of study, including reasonable adjustments and funding applications such as the Disabled Students Allowance (DSA).

You will also be required to provide guidance to academic and professional staff and liaise with a range of external service providers.
